Bird-flu.

Bird-flu/ avian influenza is a viral disease. Generally the jungle animals are infected by this virus. The poultry, like ducks-hens may also are infected by this virus. At present poultry and in the other sectors bird-flu/ avian influenza is affected in human body by H5N1 A virus. H5N1 virus is spreaded by jungle birds. There is no preventive way of disease created by this virus in the ducks-hens. This virus is so strong that, the infected, ducks-hens may die within an hour. Generally the bird-flu virus is not affected in human body easily. But the men who come to the close to the ducks-hens may be infected by the bird-flu virus. men can be also infected by bird-flu virus if they eat the cooked meat of ducks-hens under the insufficient heat of 70 degree celsius/ centigrade. The World Health Organization says that, there are 50% of bird-flu infected people have the risk of death. Before 100 years ago at first the bird-flu disease was identified in Italy. In Hongkong in 1997 the avian influenza virus was explored in human body. In 1918-1919, there were 40 to 50 million of people had died in the whole world by this virus. This virus is found in the different countries of the world. Bangladesh is also included in it now, but hoping to say that still there is no affected patient is found in our country. Recently the panic has spreaded all over the country after exploring the avain influenza virus in a poultry farm at Savar. The concerned authority of Govt. and the combination of Poultry Association observe keenly almost the every resign/zone of the infected areas of the country.

From 22 February to 22 March, 2007 they visit 692 farms within one month and test the health condition of 12 lakh 96 thousand and 415 hundred of hens. Soon they found bird-flu infected farms and hens and decided to kill them. there are also near about 1 lakh hens on the other part of the country are killed in a human sense. 

The world famous company named Swiss medicine Company discovered the first vaccine against this virus. Still no effective vaccine is discovered to prevent bird-flu in the world. Though the world famous British Multi-national Company 'Glaxco Smith Cliath' and Fernch Company 'Sanophy Avitis' have marketed of flu vaccine, but in Bangladesh, the flu vaccine of the two companies is not available.
